The "Well Being" concept has been implemented on board Moonima aiming to address all passengers' senses during their stay.
It provides the opportunity to bring their body and soul into harmony and gather new energy for their stressful everyday life.
The highest value is placed on the selection of products to ensure the best possible experience for passengers.

At EcoPro Divers they strongly believe in the concept of merging liveaboard diving with the principles of marine conservation.
They have implemented several measures in their operations that are geared towards this goal.
One of their initiatives involves using drinking water that is generated through an osmosis and mineralizing system and they also provide refillable drinking water bottles, biodegradable shampoo and shower gel, reusable bamboo straws and serve draft beer instead of cans amongst other eco-friendly practices.

They have also been actively involved in marine conservation for many years and they are dedicated to imparting some of this knowledge to their divers through their detailed briefings.
Moreover, their guests have the opportunity to interact with employees of prominent organizations such as the Maldives Whaleshark Research Programme and Manta Trust, who often join the tours and offer insightful presentations on the subject of conservation.

Moonima - itineraries

Please choose your Itinerary

Central atolls
North and Central Atolls

Specific itineraries depend on the time of year and the prevailing currents at that time of the year.
The Maldives is one of our top 3 diving destinations in the world.
We do not know of any other place where you can experience so many different highlights in such a short time.
Dives with grey reef sharks, whale sharks, and manta rays are a common occurrence. Special experiences, such as night dives with mantas, whale sharks directly behind the boat, or diving with tiger sharks, are not uncommon.

The Maldives benefit from their location near the Equator, which offers stable temperatures throughout the year and protection from cyclones. The climate is tropical equatorial, generally humid and warm, with 2 seasons called Monsoons. As the country crosses the Equator and spans a distance of 800 km from North to South, weather conditions vary according to your location in the archipelago.

For your flight arrival times ideally you should aim to arrive around midday on the day of departure as due to a same day turn around of the boat the guests from the trip before will be departing in the morning. The rest of the morning the boat will be being cleaned and prepared for your arrival around lunchtime.
You can arrive on the day of departure as late as 10pm as the boat will not leave the Male area on the first day. Whatever time you arrive on the day of departure you will be met off your flight at the arrivals area by our boat representatives and taken to the boat, about 10 minutes from the airport.

If you would like to arrive the day before it is possible to stay in the airport hotel which is on the adjacent island (HulhulMale) as the airport (Hulhule island) or stay in another guesthouse on Hulhulemale Island for the night, we don’t recommend booking somewhere in Male as this involves a ferry ride to the next island.
If you stay on Hulhulemale island your hotel will then deliver you back to the airport the following day (the day of departure) where you will be met by the boats representatives and taken directly to the ship. Please check with your hotel / guest house if this is a free transfer as some of them charge for this service. Planes do not fly late into the night so you will be able to sleep.

We recommend that you check your travel insurance will cover anything interrupting your travel plans as well as offer great dive insurance
We recommend Dive Assure Insurance as it offers cover for all these eventualities as well as complete Dive Insurance all in one package.
